I had a tight schedule to declutter and organise my parents' dilapidated holiday home, which felt extremely daunting. Kim was brilliant at helping me prioritize jobs so that each phase was broken down into manageable parts. This started from establishing which area of the house to tackle first and helping me identifying things to keep, in a considered but practical way, sorting meticulously and systematically so I was clear where things had gone. She enabled me to make decisions about items of emotional value, calmly attuning to my need to reminisce, while not allowing us to be too diverted from the job in its entirety.
I am not a completer/finisher and so having Kim’s practical approach to clearing an area and organising the tip trips felt reassuring and I was astonished we were able to achieve so much in a short period of time. Kim has excellent attention to detail, and calm supportive demeanour, which turned a potential ordeal into a manageable and satisfying experience.

What other costs may there be?

Public transport: agreed upon in advance and included in the invoice (receipts provided).
Parking fees: these will be agreed upon in advance and included in the invoice.

How and when do I pay?
An invoice will be provided at the end of each session booked.
A 50% deposit is required to secure each booking, then full payment of the balance is required at the end of each completed session.

Payment is accepted by cash, debit card or bank transfer.
Do I need to be there during sessions?
Yes, as you will need to make decisions about what to keep or let go of. During a project, there may be some occasions when certain tasks can be started together and then I can continue alone.
Digital scanning work may be done off-site.
How long will it take?
Each organising project is unique. They may occasionally take a little more time than thought, depending on how quickly selection decisions are made and if there are any unforeseen circumstances. The home visit is recommended so I can explore the scope of the project and estimate the time to suit your needs and budget.
Will you throw my things away?
No, this will always be your decision. I am there to support you and will help you to decide what to keep and what to let go of.
I don't hold a waste disposal licence but am happy to advise you on how to recycle, upcycle or donate.
Are you registered and insured? Yes.
I have full Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance with Westminster Insurance.
